Footballing Icons: PELE

The Brazilian forward amassed an incredible 1,279 goals in 1,363 games (including friendlies) during his career. At club level, Pele only played for two clubs during his 21 years as a professional footballer, Santos in Brazil and New York Cosmos in the USA where he won a combined 27 honours. At international level, Pelé still remains Brazil’s all time top goal scorer with 77 goals and he’s the only player in history to have won three FIFA World Cups. A true icon of the beautiful game!
