Mr 110% was manager of Aston Villa between 1974-1982, where he won promotion to the First Division in his first season whilst lifting the League Cup. A year later, ‘Popeye’ was at it again and was leading the claret and blues to League Cup success for the second consecutive year. In 1981, he led the Villans to a First Division title which firmly puts Ron Saunders into the Aston Villa hall of fame.
