Don Revie’s Three Lions clashed with Mike Smith’s Welsh Dragons in a international friendly at Wembley back in 1975. The late David Johnson scored a brace on his England debut to open the scoring, the Ipswich Town striker then levelled the scores at 2-2 after goals from John Toshack and Arfon Griffiths had put Wales ahead.
