Luton Town 1 Millwall 0 1985

This match will be remembered for the action off the pitch as opposed to on it unfortunately as crowd trouble before and after the game at Kenilworth Road. This led to significant condemnation of football hooliganism across all political divides and throughout the media and governing bodies which led to significant changes to attending football matches.

When the FA Cup 6th round tie finally got underway it was First Division side Luton Town who edged the match 1-0 against Third Division opponents Millwall thanks to a goal from Brian Stein. The Hatters narrowly lost the FA Cup semi-final to Everton after extra-time at Villa Park.
