The beautiful game has always had it’s tough characters, hardmen who aren’t shy when it comes to putting the boot in, whether that be on the ball or off it. Over recent decades we could probably name over 100 players within that category but we’ve narrowed it down to our dirty dozen.

A less than favourable reputation would often proceed these men and often led to them making into the referee’s notebook before a ball had been kicked, but often they would receive a justified yellow / red card aplenty from just being plain dirty or being the king of shithousery.
