Kenny Dalglish’s double winning Liverpool side faced Howard Kendall’s Everton in the all Merseyside Charity Shield back in 1986. Adrian Heath had put the Toffees ahead before Ian Rush equalised late on to end the game all level which meant the Shield was shared.
