A classic 3-3 encounter at Anfield back in 1988 between arch rivals Liverpool and Manchester United. The visitors from down the M62 took the lead through Captain Marvel Bryan Robson before Liverpool hit back in style with three goals from Beardsley, Gillespie and McMahon. At 3-1 down at Anfield, things got worse for the travelling reds as they we’re reduced to 10 men. Within 17 minutes of the red card United we’re level.
