In the semi-final of the 1980 FA Cup, West Ham United eventually beat Everton 2-1 in the replay after the two teams had battled out a 1-1 draw at Villa Park a few days earlier. Alan Devonshire opened the scoring for the Hammers early in extra-time before Bob Latchford equalised for the Toffees but it was Frank Lampard senior who sent the Irons to Wembley with a dramatic late winner.
